Yep, I thought that was hilarious. I will buy two turds worth.

Color shift is cool on cars because they have multiple curves and contours which give the paint a variety of angles it can be viewed at once.
Where as a laptop is mostly flat with slightly rounded edges.
I see that one photo of it in the article and it doesn't look spectacular.
