New AMD Build-sensors incorrectly reading cpu temp-Fan Problem

I'm trying to finish up a build for my brother. In the bios it shows the fx6300 at 50c+. I'm guessing this is incorrect

Using core temp and CPUID HWMonitor it's showing 14c idle 47c max with prime 95 for 2 hours.

The issue I'm having is with how loud the cpu cooler gets. I am able to turn it down with the motherboard software or fan control to 50 percent and it doesn't make a sound, but the software re-enables 100 percent fan stating temp is over threshold. So it must be reading the same thing the bios is.

Anyone with experience on this issue? Is the Bios incorrect, and if so is there a way around this fan control issue?

Thanks

BIOS temp will always be higher than Windows temp if you are using Cool and Quiet. In BIOS, the processor is always running at its full clock speed.

As to the fluctuation in speed while in Windows, it could be the MB isn't controlling the speed correctly. Be sure the cooler is secured properly and the thermal paste is applied correctly. But your temps are looking good with a 47C stressed temp.
