Question New AMD drivers bricking cards and interfering with windows and BIOS.

Hi all.

I've just done a clean install of Windows but am now hearing rumours of the amd drivers damaging systems. Is this true and should I wait for newer drivers to come out? I have an RX 6600XT.

Looks likes it true because seen many comments about it. They have to install windows 11 again and such think it something to do with AMD Software Adrenalin Edition 23.2.1 but hopefuly they fixed issue by now and looks like there new update 23.2.2

No clue I just want to play some games without my pc getting messed up.

I enjoy AMD a lot for CPUs, but all the video cards I personally have experienced drivers issues.

your old drivers will be fine until they out out a fix

How would I go about installing older drivers? I just did a fresh install of windows on a new drive so there's nothing on the pc at the moment.

Just download the old drivers and install them.
