New AMD processor

Im thinking of buying a new AMD processor currently i have a AMD athlon II dual core but i am thinking of buying a Phenom ii x6 1045T 6 core. Is it compatible with my gigabyte 78lmt-usb3?

yes it's compatible but can we ask if you've considered FX6300? It's a great processor too.

That comparo is with 1055T so 1045T will be out performed by 6300. US $140
