I've been experimenting with Windows Longhorn, and Whistler, on real hardware and I've mostly been able to get Longhorn to work. The only problem is that on boot it says to choose an OS, either Longhorn or XP, and both of them go to Longhorn since I installed it over XP. How can I remove the XP prompt from boot so I don't have to press enter every time I do a restart or startup?

That was a fault in your installation routine.

You should have DELETED all existing data.
Now, you have an install that thinks it is a dualboot.

Is Windows 5 actually real? And if so, how and where would I obtain a copy? I've never seen or heard about it before so I doubt its real, but it does intrigue me.

No, it was never really a thing
