I'm looking to build a semi future-proof build that doesn't break the bank for the household artist, and repurpose his existing box as a gaming machine (older, less demanding games)... Heavy use of Photoshop with TONS of layers... moderate use of zBrush and other modeling apps...
Here's what I have:

I'd love to keep it under $1,000, but I don't want to be penny wise and pound foolish, either. Not being at all current in the world of hardware myself, I am not sure which mobo (or what speed RAM, as I am not sure PS cares that much), so I'm thinking I might be able to save some money there...
I have built a pretty similar box this year (thanks to folks on this board!) but it was just for mid-level gaming so I am using a Ryzen 5 3600 and a Radeon RX 580 OC, which is fine for my needs...
Any input would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!
Leslie
