Hi,
I'm trying to build a new PC but unfortunately its failing to start up after initial success.
After being on for around 30 mins initially, now when I try to turn the system on, it powers on for seconds (fans, LED starts posting), and then shuts down. When the PC turns itself off he MOBO LED lights rapidly and sporadically flicking on and off like the power is struggling to reach the MOBO.
Also strangely it seems that when I leave the PC off for an extended period of time (30 mins - 1 hour) the PC will last for longer (2-3 mins). However when I try turning it on straight away it won't show any signs of life.
Could this be something to do with the MOBO battery?
I've built the PC as a Breadboard, (so out the case, just the MOBO, CPU and power plugged in)
MOBO: ASROCK Extreme 4
CPU: Intel i5 4590
PSU: Corsair 650W
Any help is much appreciated, I can't find any other threads with similar problems so it would help to get any knowledgeable persons thoughts.
