New assembled Computer starts then restart withing a second

I have just finished building my first gaming computer. When I powered it on for the first time, the LED's turned on, and the fans started spinning everything seemed ok. After 2 seconds all components shut down, and a second later it started again. All access from BIOS and everything seems in order.



Further, my bios displays AE2 legacy boot event. Is this because there is no system on the HDD (yet)?
The behaviour is surprising to me, any thoughts anyone?

My specs are:
CPU: Intel i5 4670k
CPU cooler: H100i
GPU: GTX 780
SSD: Samsung 840 pro 250 gb
HDD: seagate barracuda 1TB
Motherboard: ASUS Maximus VI HERO
RAM: Corsair Vengeance (2x4gb) 2400 MHz
PSU: XFX Core Edition PRO650W

Try with a single stick of DRAM in slot 1 (closest to CPU)

I tried restarting the computer multiple times and I never got this problem again. And the AE error just meant that there were no OS installed.
