Hello guys;

I have just bought a brand new Asus G20-CB, it is really cool computer which come to me with a lot of extra features like high performance mode, normal mode and power saving mode. (in asus command program you can change it) and also "threshold settings" i dont know how to use them if you can give me some info about them i ll really apreciate it.

But my main question is my pc freezes when i change it from power saving mode to another. Why is this happening ? When i chose high performance mode pc starts to not work and freezes so i have to restart pc every single time.

i had some research and some people say it is bad overclocking. I dont know if this is true but if you know anything about this stuation i m here for your help.

here is a screenshot of asus settings and threshold settings.

Thanks in advance.

The three power settings are part of windows, High Performance mode runs CPU at max speed all the time.

Make sure you have latest bios as it helps with system stability - you might have a program on PC that lets you update this from within windows: https://www.asus.com/support/Download/14/11/15/4/MUDJ0HiIR2mtY2xm/30/
