Question New ASUS TUF Dash F15 laptop suddenly has low FPS after playing a new game.

I have a new gaming laptop for about a month, and it has been working very well. However, after downloading and playing a new AAA game, the laptop has around 20ish FPS on all games. When I played the new game for the first time, the settings were high, and everything went as expected, with no FPS drops, exept it got hotter than usual. However, the next day, all games had low FPS. I think I have tried everything. Could there be a permanent hardware damage?

Hey there,

How hot is hot? Use HWInfo to monitor the system. Run something like Cinebecnh R23 multi core, and see what temp your CPU gets to. If your CPU is hitting 90-95c, then it's likely the case of the stuttering will be your CPU.
