Recently I thought about getting a pre-built PC but I been told about how it's better to build one and that it's cheaper. Soo I decided to start thinking about building one. However I don't know what parts to get for it. I mean literally everything. I have seen a couple of YouTube tutorials on how to build one but not how to find the correct parts. I'm completely brain dead about this and completely new. If anyone knows a link for a step by step video or guide on how to find the correct parts that would be really useful. Or if anyone has any suggestions for what parts I can use? I would love to hear any build ideas from anyone. My current budget is $1,500 USD. I have been told I can get something good out of that instead of buying something overpriced that won't be as good as what I paid.

That is true. Are you good with your hands? Follow directions? Then it is an easy process.

What monitor do you have, resolution is important.

Do you have a Micro Center near you?

This is a solid gaming rig for 1080p and would leave room for a other things, maybe a nice monitor. Or you can upgrade the parts a bit too. Just an idea of what you can get.

Yes, i'm good with hands and following step by step.
1. I currently have a monitor but I plan on passing this down to a younger sibling of my mine, So I plan on buying a new one. So to keep it short, I don't have a monitor, but I'll buy a monitor. Not sure what type though.

2. I don't have one nearby me, The nearest one would be 2-3 hours away. Which would be in Tustin for me.

3. Thanks for showing me this layout. The budget is smaller than I thought it would be. Besides taxes, and overall payment.

I also found this, What do you think of this?
