Our old router is a 2Wire 3800hgv-b. Right now it is hooked up to the wall with white coax cable through the "cable" port. That's how we get out wifi. However, when it is plugged in the same way into the new router, which is a pace 5268ACFXN, does not connected to broadband when plugged in with the coax cable (both broadband lights are red and only the home PNA light flashes green, with the occasional flash from the wifi light). I can connect my iPad to the new network, but it informs me, no surprise, that there is no broadband connection. The stupid instructions AT&T are cryptic and don't help at all. I plugged in the old setup again to post this, but I'm not sure what to do now. I think we need to plug in a green wire into the DSL broadband connector on the new router, but there's nowhere in our walls to do this since we have an older home, with only connectors for the coax cables. The broadband lights on our old router are always green without this setup, but for some reason it seems like this new router needs it to be this way. What should I do?
