my specs are:-
Pentium Dual Core E5700
Motherboard--http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?cc=us&lc=en&docname=c01237572
Ram-2*2GB DDR2
PSU-Corsair VS450
Now i previously had a 9400gt 1gb installed which gave me no problems at all....now recently i bought a new R7 250 and after connecting it my monitor shows no display...i have tried changing the bios settings to PCI-E uninstalling all the previous drivers..still the same result...my psu should provide enough power so that shouldn't be a problem and also the card doesn't require any external pin connectors and when i connect the R7 250 and swap my VGA port to the onboard video it gives a display..so my motherboard is alright...SO PLEASE GUYS SUGGEST ME A SOLUTION 🙁

ok i figured out that my motherboard has a pci-e 1.1x16 slot...with further info from nvidia and amd technicians i learned that nvidia is backward compatible till 1.1 whereas amd is not...i replaced my r7 250 with a gtx 650 and now i am good to go...just thought to share dis..:)
