Hi all. I'm looking into building a new system. I've done a pile of research and I figured I would get the advice of some other people with more experience than me. I am looking at building a budget gaming build for under $700. All the parts will be purchased off NewEgg because I love them. I've for the moment decided on an AMD purely because they are more bang for the buck. I'm not against Intel, but I'm not willing to spend much more than what is already there. This is what I'm currently looking at.
CPU- FX-8120
MOBO- ASRock 770i Cafe
GPU- MSI R7850
PSU-RaidMax Hybrid 2 RX-630 (630 watt)
HDD- WD 5000AX (500GB)
RAM-Kingston HyperX 8GB 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600
DVD Drive- MSI IDE DVD-ROM Drive Model DH-18DP
Case-Rosewill CHALLENGER
That current price is $670.
Please, I don't want this to turn into a fanboy convention. I chose AMD because of the value. If intel makes a cpu with a similar price that will produce similar FPS on games, let me know. I'm open to any ideas.
Thanks.
