I've build a couple gaming PCs before and have always been a fan of going the i5 route, getting a beast cooling system and OC'ing it. However, this won't be needed for this build as it won't be a gaming PC. I mainly need this for work, be able to run dual screens so a GPU with dual dvi out and have it be reliable. I was thinking of going the i5-6600k route with a mediocre GPU like a GTX 750, samsung ssd for windows and a 2TB WD secondary drive, simple corsair 500watt modular PSU, but like I said I am open to suggestions. I have build an FX6300 and I have no problems with that either just seeing whats the most bang for buck I can get going into 2016.

Nothing overly demanding, excel spread sheets, word documents, having multiple programs running at a time, internet browsers, etc.

The person I am building this for is dead set on having an intel, and I realized after posting that an unlocked CPU would be pointless, so if I were to stay I'd use the 6500 or the 4590, no need for k as he isn't going to OC.
