With the larger resolution you would probably want to take a serious look at the AMD 6950 2GB cards. They excel at higher resolution vs the lower vRAM Nvidia cards.

Thanks I'll look into it, they can be upgraded to 6970's via a BIOS flash update too

They used to, but I have seen posters on this board say AMD put a stop to that. They can still be over clocked though.
