[SOLVED] New build. 1 long 3 short beeps

I recently acquired some new components. more specifically i got:

• MB: Aorus B450 I Pro Wifi
• CPU: R5 Ryzen 3600X
• PSU: BeQuiet SFX L 600W
• RAM: Corsair Vengance LPX CMK16GX4M2B3000C15 2x8G

I dont have a GPU

My initial RAM was of the same brand but is was just one dimm of 16, but after I got 1 short and 3 long beeps on startup i changed it for the ones mentioned above which I picked up from the CPU support list and the MB support list to make sure they are compatible.

I still got 1 short 3 long.

There is nothing on screen.

What else am I doing wrong?

I don’t think that board supports 3000 series CPU’s without a bios update.

You won’t get a video signal without a gpu.

Thanks GarrettL for the answer, but it says on the site that the MB is Ryzen 3000 ready. Thats why I bought it. It also says that on the box! Why would they put that on the box? ) Does this happen often?
I also read that it had integrated graphics, and did not need a GPU for the moment.
Still, should i get 1 long 3 shorts?

The cpu you purchased does not have integrated graphics.

That beep code confirms what GarrettL said, you are missing a GPU and one must be installed for this system to work.

Only Ryzen models ending in "G" have integrated video devices, the others do not.

i would contact whichever retailer you bought this from and request they update their product information. who knows how many other customers may fall for the same misinformation and make this mistake.
