Edit: Main use will be gaming on a 23in display, possibly upgrading, not with the purchase of this build
I live in Pennsylvania, so USD and no microcenter.
Avoiding Windows 8.
About to pull the trigger on a few parts due to current combos. Will be ordering everything from Newegg due to having used them many times in the past and knowing they'll do whatever it takes to ensure their customers get what they want. I simply don't have the experience with the other online retailers.

FUTURE (~3 weeks, once im back in the US):
Gigabyte GTX 770 Windforce 2GB - $399
i5 4670k - $239
Windows 7 - $99
CM Hypr 212 Evo - $29
Samsung 840 120GB/Pro 128 GB - $90/$140 (biggest difference = write speed, correct? I've heard the pro has a longer life expectancy, opinions?)
Total - $906 (assuming 840 pro)
+$538
------
$1,444 (most parts i'm not buying toda are on no sort of sale, chances are they will be sometime between now and when I purchase them so the $1,444 will drop, quite drastically if I choose the 840 over 840 pro)
Since the Motherboard and Ram are on such a huge discount I made the decision to upgrade from my original idea of AsRock Extreme 4, 8gb of ram, and an i5 3570k to the Haswell build, so i'll now be picking up parts as they go on sale.
Any thoughts? I know the 16GB ram is overkill, but it's hard to pass up a sale like they're having, and because of the sale its forcing me to buy 4th gen instead of 3rd gen, which will probably be a smart move in the long run.
