Question New build $2000 USD budget

Hello! Im looking to buy a new computer since the one Im using is kinda outdated. Cant get more than 70FPS on any newer games anymore and if I get 70 or more its a constant stutter and Im suddenly having a jet engine for a computer by the sounds of it. I made a post some days ago whether I should upgrade or buy a new system and came to the conclusion it will just be easier to buy a completly new system.

Im planning on buying it as quick as I can find a build that feels right, could be tonight or whenever I find something. My budget is as stated in the title $2000 USD but I can stretch it if neccessary, so somewhere around the 2000-2500 range is no worries. I dont need a monster that can run GTA 86 maxxed with 400FPS. Just something stable that can run most of the newer games at medium+ with 144FPS, if its possible with my budget ofcourse. The computer will mostly (if not only) be used for gaming, however I like having a show or Youtube on my 2nd monitor while I play some games. Both my monitors are 1080p @144Hz and I dont plan on buying any new one soon. And if I do it will probably also be another 1080p 144Hz hehe.

I dont know a lot about what hardware is good or not so I havent picked out anything at the moment. I guess I will have to buy windows again (dont matter if its 10 or 11). I prefer Intel CPU and Nvidia GPU, but only since I have always had it and feel "comfortable" with them, but if I can get more bang for my buck I have no problem taking anything else. Also overclocking is not anything I have done before so I cant really say if I want the option to do it or not.

From my current PC I can take the chassis and my PSU (if both chassis and PSU is even big/good enough to use for anything  ). EDIT I also have a portable 2TB SSD so I dont need any extra space

Lastly, I have 0 needs for it to be a bling bling PC. I would actually prefer to have a black box with nothing extra at all. A quiet black box would be the best of both worlds if its possible ofc. And Im living in Sweden!

Oh yeah, almost forgot. Currently Im playing WoW (both retail and classic), Helldivers 2 and Elden ring. I think that would be good to know!

Thank you so much in advance! (And I hope Im posting in the right place and everything that needs to be known is here this time :) )

The weakest points in a "pre-built" computer are typically cooling and power supply. I'd pay particular attention to those 2 parts.

You say "buy a new computer". I'm guessing you refuse to build your own PC from the ground up, choosing each individual part.

I cannot see your existing power supply. Please state the brand, full model name, and age.

Do you have any other strong preferences....such as liquid cooling? I assume you have NO interest in RGB?

From what vendor might you buy? Link to it?

The 120mm fan goes inside the back of this case for a exhaust fan.

I dont mind building it, I mostly need some advice in what fit with what etc. I dont know what to look out for (cpu socket, wattage and all that). I can certainly buy every part individually and build it on my own if I can be certain everything will fit and work together. I know pre-built wont get me the most for my money which is what Im looking for. However I wouldnt mind a pre-built if there is anything good and worth the price

The PSU is Seasonic CORE-GC-500 Non-Modular PC Power Supply 80PLUS Gold 500 Watt. I dont know the age but it got some years on its back, maybe 5-ish.

Cooling wise I dont have any preferences, liquid or air. It doesnt matter tbh. And yeah I have no interest in RGB, but its not like I cant stand it. Its more a "I dont see the use in it" kind of view I have on it, so I can save money on that I wouldnt complain.

I got two different vendors Im currently looking at, but I dont NEED to buy from them. I can buy the parts from different vendors. There is no panic or need for everything to arrive at the same time. The vendors Im currently looking at are are https://www.inet.se and https://www.komplett.se

Thank you, and sorry for the lack of info

The Focus 2 is available with a glass panel or a black box design.
I think you should pick a case yourself based on what you like.

It's possible to save a little bit of money buying a non z790 chipset motherboard. I don't think i would do that, but up to you.

If you don't mind a HDD, the WD Blue 5400rpm offers 4Tb for ~kr1100. It's reliable and quiet for a HDD.
I know some people would sooner throw it out the window than install it, but it's an option for mass storage.

I would not cheap out on a 4070 Super. The 4080 Super is out of reach, so might as well buy a decent 4070 Super. The Gigabyte Eagle i picked may not be the best! Decent i think.
