Hey Guys,

I'm looking for info on the best motherboard for an Intel i7 - 13700K cpu? Any help would be appreciated 🙂

Any B760 board will serve you just fine. Grab one that fits your budget and fits your ascetic choice. Higher tier boards like Z790 are not worth their price tag for the majority of users. If you aren't going to use the extra features those higher tier boards supply, stick with the cheaper B760.

With all that said, I would personally go with something like the ROG Strix Z690-E Gaming WiFi. It's a nice middle ground between the B760 and Z790 chipsets and has plenty of headroom for potential upgrades down the road. It's also got plenty of IO for USB devices while at a solid price of 220 dollars. Hope this helped, take care.

What will this pc be used for?
Gaming, multithreaded batch apps, or something else?
How many expansion slots do you need?
How many of what type rear i/o ports do you want?
Do you favor one particular maker?
Do you want DDR4 or DDR5?

Define what "best" means to you?
Price?
or, something else?
B760 motherboards do not permit multiplier overclocking, like the Z motherboards do, but using the stock turbo mechanism works out better for most.

I find newegg to be a good place to do some product research.
You can filter on your required specs.
Look at the feedback from actual buyers. There will always be some negative feedback, but look at the reasons.
