Hi there guys,

Just need a bit of advice as my PC of 8years has just died on me (motherboard fault). I've been thinking of building a new one from scratch but just wanted some reassuring that I'm going for the right parts. With this list I've already got the graphics card, ram and I've also got 1x1tb HD and 1x500gb HD. I use it for mainly aftereffects/editing/gaming. Any advice is much appreciated!

I personally think you do not need 24GB RAM as that is overkill... 8GB should be enough for both gaming and After Effects, but feel free to get 16GB if you like. Solid build otherwise.
