new build advice

building my first pc this Christmas
wondering if you could check out my build to see if the are all compatible ect

Mother board - GIGABYTE GA-970A-DS3P AMD 970
Procesor - AMD Piledriver FX-6 Six Core 6300
Graphic card - ZOTAC GeForce GTX 760
power supply - Corsair Builder Series CX500 - 500 Watt
ram - Novatech 8GB (1x8GB) DDR3 PC3-12800 1600MHz Single Module

any other advice or tips would be appreciated

go for 2x4 gb ram than one stick of 8 gb.

Looks good. You might look at a different PSu for better quality though. If you do go with the Corsair unit, make sure it is the cx500m not the normal one. They are slightly better quality.

does the cx500m have the 2 6pin connectors for the graphic card?
