Finally getting a desktop together. Only components I have as of now are the case and video card. Black Friday struck and I snagged a EVGA SC GTX 970 ACX 2.0. Tower is a Fractal R4 mid tower. Need advice on the rest of the main components as its a bit overwhelming to me. The purpose of the build is casual gaming on graphics intensive games (crysis, witcher, battlefield, etc.)

So here's what I've laid out so far.

Mobo: ASRock Z97 Extreme6

CPU: Intel Core-i7 4790k Devils Canyon

RAM: G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 2133

Power Supply: EVGA 220-G2-0850-XR 80 PLUS GOLD 850 W

HDD: WD Blue 1TB Desktop Hard Disk Drive

SSD: SAMSUNG 850 EVO 2.5" 120GB SATA III

CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO

Monitor: ASUS VG248QE Black 24" Gaming Monitor, 144Hz 1ms

I'm sure I'm missing a few other components but that's the main stuff for now. Input on what would work better or any other suggestions is greatly appreciated.

Nice part choices. The PSU is the right model to pick but 850 watts is overkill. It can be easily done with the 550 G2 or 650 G2 for more headroom. I'd pick the Cryorig H7 cooler over the Hyper 212 also. You can get 250GB 850 EVO SSD for only a bit more than the cost of the 120GB. Everything should fit an R4 case with no problems. The rest looks very good.
