Working on a new build and this is what I have. Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Approximate Purchase Date: In the next few Week

Budget Range: approximately $2500, hopefully less. For instance, my current motherboard is the ROG MAXIMUS VI HERO, and I have had no problems with it so I went with the new HERO, if there is another one with the same performance but costs less then I would consider it. Same goes for the other components.

System Usage from Most to Least Important: gaming, internet video streaming, video editing

Are you buying a monitor: In bout six months, thinking about going 4K so what would be a good 4K monitor, current is 24" 144hz 1080p monitor. New 4K monitor price shouldn't be included in the builds budget.

Do you need to buy OS: Yes

Location: United States

Parts Preferences:Intel, EVGA

Overclocking:Maybe

SLI or Crossfire: prefer to have just one, but can't decide between the 1070ti, 1080, or the 1080ti

Your Monitor Resolution: 1920x1080

Additional Comments: When it comes to a case, airflow and low temps are a priority over low noise.

1. H100i v2 is on sale
2. I will cut cost on motherboard and get 32 gb ram, a must for 4k video editing
3. add a small SSD for OS and software caching
4. 1080 ti is needed for 4k gaming
5. full tower is too large
6. 850 is overkill unless SLI 1080 ti

Thanks Vapour, would there be a good air cooling option for that build if I decided to go that rout instead of liquid cooling. Also what would be a good 4k monitor if/when I decide to get one? Thanks.

Some edits to include monitor:

If you decide to get 8700k, go with Noctua NH-D15 or R1 universal.
