Additional Comments: This is going to be a work computer, not concerned with gaming. I run multiple internet browsers with 15+ tabs open, 5+ word/excel/outlook documents, several work programs that are not very taxing on the CPU, and will be doing some Photoshop and video editing but nothing too serious. The most important things are speed and leaving a path to upgrade as needed to keep the PC current for the next 5 years or so.
Requirements:
SSD for the main drive, thinking 256 gb and a large secondary drive (2tb+)
Support the 3 ACER K242HYL monitors
Something that runs cool and quiet
I have plenty of room to run a full size tower
Already have:
Windows 10
Keyboard
Mouse
Monitors
And Most Importantly, Why Are You Upgrading: Running an Alienware laptop now and it’s just time to upgrade to a dedicated PC for work. As far as budget I’m flexible, I’d like to be around $1,000 but can go higher if needed. Parts will be purchased in the US and I’m ready to buy now.
