I bought a set of new parts for a totally new PC build, my friend selected the parts for the build for me as I've been out the loop for a good 5-6 years now and it all goes over my head a bit.
I feel comfortable building the PC so sat down and put it together, everything comes on, all fans running (GPU fan stops after a minute or so), motherboard lights up etc. Yet I have no beeps and no display.
I'm at work at the moment but when I get home I will try removing one of the two sticks of RAM and see what happens - I also plan on plugging in the monitor via HMDI on the motherboard to see if I can get a signal through but I imagine this won't affect the POST setup and give me any beeps.
Here is a list of my parts;

Worried that there is a compatibility issue with the mobo and the processor stopping the whole thing without a BIOS update but my friend assured me that his build had the same issue but automatically updated the BIOS when it booted.
This friend also lives roughly 100 miles away so can't get his assistance with the build/setup.
