So i am slowly collecting the parts for my build that will be the one i keep for some time.
ive always used second hand parts with new and some even donated to get what i need.
for instance my current CPU was 50 quid from FB marketplace replacing an i5 4670 given to me by a friend.
so far i have all brand new components waiting they include : Asus rog strix z270h Mobo, i7 7700, 16gb viper rgb 3000mhz, samsung evo 970 m.2 250gb, samsung evo 860 m.2 1tb , CX550m psu.
i just need a case and im going to carry over my palit super jetstream that i only bought 4 months ago.
its so exciting to have a high end build and all new .....just really had to get that out there.

i know you will understand.

That board actually supports dual NVME PCI drives, so that's good. A lot of them only support M.2 PCI on one M.2 slot and SATA on the other one, so I wanted to double check that and it looks kosher.

About the only thing that doesn't fit the quality of the rest of the build is that CX550m. It's not a baaad unit, but it's not particularly good either AND depending on what model of graphics card you have it might actually be a poor choice if it's close to the recommended capacity because the CXm units have a very aggressive fan profile so if you are even close on the recommendation, and I recommend if you are going to use a CXm unit to go about 200w above recommended capacity, it's going to kick in full speed fan operation much lower than...

Oh I totally understand man. People will say “this forum isn’t a place for these kinds of topics” but I get that you need to scream out your excitement!

I’ve waited 7 months, planning, researching and waiting for the time to come when I have enough money to build my PC, and tomorrow night I’ll finally get to build it! I’m super excited too, I’m glad there’s someone out there feeling the same as me. I’m done running fortnite at 30 FPS on my Mac.

Did you already purchase that unit or is it only on the list of parts to order? If you haven't ordered it yet, I'd rethink it, again, depending on what GPU card model you are using?
