Just started my first build here is my component list
Ryzen 5 3600 6 core
GEIL SUPER LUCE AMD Edition DDR4 8 gb x 2
Asus x470 Prime MB
XFX RX580 GTs VC
Sabrent 512 GB NVME M.2 SSD
Seagate BarraCuda 2 tb HD
Thermaltake 700w PSU
Rosewill ATX Mid Tower
I hooked everything up, GPU as well, plugged it in on the first go and no boot. So we did some minor things that i dont even recall now and started to pull it all back apart
Ive trouble shot this thing inside and out, checked all ram slots with each stick, reset the CMOS each time with the PSU unplugged and battery out.
Ive unplugged everything, ram, and all other connectors leaving on the CPU, the 8 pin and 24 pin with the speaker plugged in just to force an error beep and nothing.
Am I going insane? the board must be shorting right? so i pulled it from the case and put it on a cardboard box, wiped down the back with alcohol swabs to see if maybe some residual oil from my fingers may be shorting it, then plugged in the PSU to force an error beep and nothing. Should i get a new board or just burn it all and laugh at short comings. Also I have checked the pins under the CPU they are all perfectly straight
