Hey all,

Starting a new build on a budget and I'm looking for any advice on components. I'm bringing my old graphics card over an ASUS TUF RTX2060 6G (possible upgrade to 40s series down the track) and my HP X34 ultrawide monitor and buying the rest.

Case: Corsiar 5000D Airflow
MOBO: MSI PRO Z690-A LGA 1700 DDR4
CPU: Intel i5 12400
CPU Cooler: Be Quiet Pure Rock 2 FX
RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 2x16GB 3200 DDR4
PSU: Corsair 850w 80+ Gold Modular

Cost about $1200. I do have alittle room to move.

Any advice or if you think this is good would be appreciated!

Stephen

The 4060 Ti isn't going to cut it imo for the OP's resolution.

A very nice list of parts.
You can build as is.

What exact Corsair unit are you looking at?
The RMx units are of high quality with a 10 year warranty.

The I5-12400 will come with a stock cooler that does the job.
Under load, it might get noisy.

Thermalright peerless assassin has been well reviewed.
https://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/thermalright-peerless-assassin-120-se

At $33 it is a steal:
https://www.newegg.com/p/0VE-01P6-0...237737&id31=en&id32=&id33=&id34=&gclsrc=aw.ds

You pay more for the RGB variant.

The case is a good one for air cooling.
It comes with a single 120mm front intake.
I think I would look to adding another 120mm intake or, better yet, two 140mm intakes.
Larger fans move more air quietly.
The extra airflow is good for the graphics card.
