Solution
I’ve already got the 3000 ram. Is it worth trying to sell and upgrade? Or no. I got the ram for 109.99 which was on sale pretty cheap I thought.

Corsair vengeance RGB pro 16gb 3000mhz
I'm in the UK and that kit costs around £125. The 3200 MHz kit costs around £132, so pretty negligible. I'd suggest simply overclocking the ram to 3200 instead of buying the new kit, since 200 MHz is practically nothing in terms of a RAM overclock. 1st Gen Ryzen prefers RAM speeds more than 2nd Gen, but even still you'll likely see a 3-5 FPS average increase.
Probably 3200 ram rather than 3000, unless you just want to overclock it. Don't think the price difference is anything at all. Ryzen loves RAM speeds.
