Question New build black screen

Specs:
Asus X470-F motherboard
Ryzen 2700X stock cooler
Asus ROC rtx 2070 oc
Western Digital black 500gb nvme
Samsung 860evo 1tb
Gskill flare X 8x2 3200 ddr4

First build on Saturday with experienced friend. Posted fine update bios/drivers/windows and even ran a benchmark. Got late and planned on installing games and what not on Sunday. Go to fire it up and all I get is a black screen. Motherboard lights go orange, red, orange,red, and then white vga light stays on. Reseated card. Reseated all power connections. All fans are spinning. Bad graphics card? Thanks in advance. Andy

What's the make and MODEL number of your power supply unit/PSU ?

That's a good power supply model. No worries here. I just wanted to rule out the PSU, so that's why I asked for the model number/brand. Anyways, from the problem you have just described, it seems that the GPU might be faulty. Can you check the card on some other PC as well, if possible ?

Well after doing some reading and crossing my fingers I rest the CMOS. and things are working. Hopefully it stays that way. Solved? time will tell. To be honest I am pretty stoked right now.
