hello, I'm currently building my 3rd gaming PC and I'm running into some issues with the display..

specs:

GPU: GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 980Ti 6GB XTREME GAMING OC EDITION

CPU: AMD FX-9590 Vishera 8-Core 4.7 GHz Socket AM3+ 220W

MotherBoard: GIGABYTE GA-990FX-Gaming AM3+ AMD 990FX SATA 6Gb/s

RAM: G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1866

Power supply: XFX Core Edition PRO850W (P1-850S-NLB9) 850W ATX12V / EPS12V

The computer will turn on and all the devices within the computer will boot up and work. however, when i boot it up, nothing will display through the HDMI output. I've tried 2 different TVs and a computer monitor and they all have the same effect. I've tried taking out and placing in different slots for the Ram and GPU as well.

Heres some pics of the wiring on the motherboard

i hope this is enough information, and thank you for the help in advance! I'm excited to get this puppy running!

sadly theres no onboard graphics, i have tried using only one stick of ram, and moving it into different slots as well with no avail

yeah everything is in right, and i just took apart my brothers working computer to see if his GPU would work on mine and it did the same thing, so i don't think the GPU is at fault

You can also try and reset CMOS

turn off pc, take battery out, use screwdriver to short the pins on your mobo, plug in battery, turn on pc with nothing plugged in, you can unplug and plug in again the hdd, hmm thinking of other solutions for you
