(There is a TL;DR at bottom) (I got sent to here to ask my question, if that's alright?)

Hello,
I'm looking for some advice and help with a new PC, as it is a first for me: a first for buying a PC, and a first in configuring it.
I'm trying to understand specs, but sometimes the jargon is hard to comprehend. My ideal PC is multi-functional;
mid-level gaming; program-tasking; CAD drafting, Youtube/Netflix, etc...

The types of games I'd be typically playing are;
Runescape (min. graphics card: GeForce 400x/Intel HD 4x/AMD Radeon 7xxx +);
DC Universe Online (min. g.card: NVIDIA 7800GTX+);
SW:TOR (min. g.card: Nvidia GeForce 610), and for a likely candidate;
Rainbow Six Vegas 2 (min. g.card: AMD Athlon 3000)
My budget is around £800, with no real desire for 4k or even 1440p resolution, and with no flashy RGB lights.
Do the specs that I have configured below before purchase meet these requirements? I'd be extremely grateful for any and all help:

Case
HADAR ELITE
Processor (CPU)
AMD RYZEN 7 5800X 8-CORE CPU (3.8GHz-4.7GHz/36MB CACHE/AM4)
Motherboard
GIGABYTE GA320M-S2H: MICRO ATX, AM4, USB 3.1, 6GB/s
Memory (RAM)
16GB PCS PRO DDR4 2666MHz (2x 8GB)
Graphics Card
4GB NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 1650 - HDMI
1st M.2 SSD Drive
512GB PCS PCIe M.2 SSD (2000 MB/R, 1500 MB/W)
1st Storage Drive
1TB PCS 2"5 SSD SATA 6 Gb (520MB/R, 470MB/W)

Power Cable
1 x 1.5 Metre UK Power Cable (Kettle Lead)
Processor Cooling
STANDARD AMD CPU COOLER (105W TDP)
Thermal Paste
ARCTIC MX-4 EXTREME THERMAL CONDUCTIVITY COMPOUND
Extra Case Fans
1x 120mm BLACK CASE FAN
Sound Card
ONBOARD 6 CHANNEL (5.1) HIGH DEF AUDIO (AS STANDARD)
Network Card
10/100/1000 GIGABIT LAN PORT
USB/Thunderbolt Options
MIN. 2 x USB 3.0 & 2 x USB 2.0 PORTS @ BACK PANEL + MIN. 2 FRONT PORTS

(TL;DR - https://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/view/Hadar-Elite/ does this setup look okay for the games listed above?)
Thanks very much to whoever reads this and answers.
Edit: I just realised the link provided does not open up to include my specs as above, so please ignore it and base the setup on the above please

The motherboard you selected will probably need a BIOS update before working with that CPU. (if there is one available)

If you are going with that CPU, I suggest faster RAM

Network will be available on the mobo as well as sound, unless you have some special application for them.

I don't see a power supply listed. Do you already have other peripherals?

Hey Punkncat, thanks very much for your answer. I've taken on board what you've said about the motherboard & CPU... unless I change CPU to Ryzen 7 5700g (how would that compare with the current motherboard?) I'm pretty much stuck on the current Ryzen 7 5800x... so, would a "gigabyte B550 gaming x V2: DDR4, USB 3.2, argb ready" motherboard work okay?

Also, I'm sorry, but I don't know what a BIOS update is? I'll try and look it up.

So, instead of 16gb RAM, would you be suggesting one stick of 32gb RAM?

My mistake, power supply is: Corsair 450W CV Series CV-450 Power Supply, and no I have no peripherals included in this budget, I thought to get them after in a means to stretch out the cost a little

Is a prebuild, anyway to convince you to build it yourself?

Wouldn't use or recommend that motherboard with such a cpu myself.

What do you mean by the first part of your comment? I wasn't ever fully sure with prebuilts what I was getting would be sufficient for my requirements, (and as with most PCs, all the customer reviews varied which I didn't like). It was mainly because I didn't (still don't really know the tech-y bits) know the differences between CPU/gpu, and what Intel vs AMD differences pro/con are. That's pretty much what then led me to the site after a Redditor mentioned it, where I could configure PCs to my specs

After looking up again, how does Asus ROX STRIX B550-F GAMING (WIFI) motherboard sound for that type of CPU?
https://ovrclock.com/best-motherboard-for-ryzen-7-5800x/ here had suggested 8 that were the best fit

What do you mean by the first part of your comment?
The link leads to a prebuild from that site, which limits possibilities of choice and with that maybe quality parts. For imo best site use the pcpartpicker if you want to build yourself.

Think realistically that the 5800X is out of your budget. Would myself think of something like this,

The Intel build looks good too.

A review about that case,

I would do something more like this. The case does have RGB, but it comes with 3 fans. You can either not plug in the RGB, or set the LED's to a solid color, of your choice.

Thanks for all your help. I don't have much time to spare to get into those builds and have a look, but I will do. I just want to be clear that I can push my budget up to £1000, I just said £800 as a figure that came to my head. If I wasn't going to go a self-build route, which sort of PCs would I be looking for? And is it the CPU + graphics card + RAM I'd be looking at for best optimal experience (Ryzen 5/7 + AMD Radeon RX + 16gb (2x 8gb sticks) etc.))?

Again, thanks for your help

Not going for the self build route does this seem not too bad, only the case might be smothering the components,
https://www.ebuyer.com/1424701-alph...-amd-ryzen-5-3-6ghz-16gb-2tb-hdd-1tb-as-d6590
yeah not happy with that case, motherboard is also bare minimum.
Other one,
https://www.ebuyer.com/1417941-alph...60ti-amd-ryzen-5-3-7ghz-16gb-1tb-hdd-as-d6492
again this time motherboard bare minimum and 750watt CV isn't the greatest choice, would rather have the psu from the above in there (Corsair CX650F ), maybe that swap can be made?? also the ssd is smaller too.

More options,
small storage and would like to see if the psu could be upgraded,
other,
also small storage and same for psu ....

For a self build two options too,

Ryzen 5700X+32gb of ram, bitlesser gpu,

Looked at a few others that sell prebuilds, in most they skimp on parts.

You have a windows license?

Hi guys, what are your opinions on refurbished PCs? In your opinions, is it something to be avoided altogether (wear-and-tear components, graphics card capabilities lose-out, RAM lag, or etc.), or is it a viable option?

I ask because I saw some Refurbished PCs advertised which looked interesting, so I just gave them a look; they seem to have good components for just under £1000 (I won't be able to do much until my time off to look through all of your selections as well, but I appreciate them)

A link to one is for a PC @ £900 for Ryzen 5 5600g, 8-core 16gb RAM, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 12gb, 256gb SSD + 1tb HDD, no rgb and plain chassis (which I like) https://www.laptopsdirect.co.uk/ref...sd-rtx-3060-a2-526c4ea/version.asp#!#maindesc

The other PC has the same chassis @ £880 for Ryzen 7 5700g, 8-core 16gb RAM, Radeon RX 6600XT 8gb, 256gb SSD + 1tb HDD

Without reading the whole thread I agree to downgrade the cpu slightly and up the graphics card. The 5800x is pretty unbalanced with the 1650. I had a 6600xt but sold it during the mining craze to make some cash. My build is otherwise a ryzen 5 3600 with 16gb of ram,nvme etc. the 6600xt at 1080p 144hz paired decently with that, so I would guess a 5600 would be a great pairing or a 5700x.

I’m now running a gtx 1060 3gb which is similar to the 1650. And it works but with the 6600xt it was nice to be able to turn up settings. With the 1650 it will work but you’ll have to compromise. My plan, I’m actually shopping for a gpu somewhere between a 6600 up to maybe something like a 2080 super, then will probably later update the cpu to a 5600 or a 5700x.
