New build cannot connect to internet

I have been trying for hours now, but after installing all the drivers onto my new build via usb I am still having issues connecting to the internet. I have tried restarting, uninstalling/reinstalling drivers, resetting router, and trouble shooting to no success. I'm at impasse here guys, this is my first build and everything is working fine despite it saying no internet connection i plan to check command prompt next. Could it be my mobo?? I'm demoralized and this is my last resort please help.

How are you trying to connect to your router? Cat5e or WiFi?
DO any other devices work on that router?

Yes I am connected to the router. Not sure what Cat5e is, but I'm plugged in right now on my other pc and its working fine.

So, ethernet cable.
In Device Manager, is there a yellow triangle for the LAN adapter? Hopefully not.
Is this a working cable?
What port on the router is is connected to?
Do any other devices work with this router?

device manager is showing a yellow triangle, yes unfortunately.
The cable works in other devices.
Its connected to port 3
Other devices work

What specific motherboard is it?

I downloaded the AMD all in one driver vers from the company site http://www.asrock.com/MB/AMD/Fatal1ty%20AB350%20Gaming%20K4/index.us.asp#osW1064
