Is this is for gaming there would be many things i would change. I would get the Phenom II x4 965 or a i5-2500k over the Phenom II x6 1100T because both would be faster, the i5 by a lot. I would then change the cooler for the Coolermaster Hyper 212+ because at that price i think it cools better. Then the PSU, Coolermaster aren't known for the best PSU's, they are certainly satisfactory but you can get something better at that price. I think you could also find a better case. How is this?

Don't know exactly what your budget is but this would perform a lot better in games and have better upgradability:

Intel Core i5-2500k
8GB G.Skill Ripjaws X 1333Mhz
ASRock Z68 Extreme3
Samsung Spinpoint F3 1TB
Gigabyte GTX 560Ti
Coolermaster HAF 922
Coolermaster Hyper 212+
Antec Earthwatts 750W
LG DVD Burner

If you really want to go with AMD i would change the CPU, MOBO and GPU for these:

AMD Phenom II x4 965
ASRock 970 EXTREME4 AM3+
HD 6870 or HD 6950

thanks for the advice, and sorry didn't realise there was a template i was supposed to use. I was originally thinking of the 970 for CPU, but i guess the bigger number won me over, It was pretty dumb of me to think bigger number = better performance .
As regard to the MOBO, would the one i posted be fine for the 965/970?
As my budget was around £700 i was trying to cut back on the case, would the Coolermaster HAF 212 be a better suited case?
Thanks for the fast replies and sorry for the number of questions.

The HAF 912 is also fine and yes a x4 will fit that board just as well as a x6. heres that Intel build for under £700 on www.aria.co.uk

Intel Core i5-2500k
8GB G.Skill Ripjaws X 1600Mhz
Gigabyte GA-Z68XP-UD3
MSI Twin Frozr II GTX 560Ti
Samsung Spinpoint F3 1TB
Corsair TX-650
Coolermaster HAF 922
Coolermaster Hyper 212+
Liteon DVD Burner

Comes just under £700, if you want to save a bit more switch the case for a 912 or Storm Scout. If you want an AMD build though swap the GPU, CPU and MOBO for:

Gigabyte 990XA-UD3
Asus ATI Radeon HD 6950 1GB (Don't need 2GB unless using 2560x1600 / 3 monitors)
AMD Phenom II x4 955

Even with the HAF 922 that comes to around £620.
