Is it necessary to go this level or is there cheaper but reliable parts out there?
Hopefully someone has the patience to go through this list.
Monitor ideas?

Mouse and keyboard.... i might be able to purchase them on my own....
thanks in advance for any help offered.

Hey Big T, thanks for the quick response>

Budget range would max out at 1500 including monitor.. looking at the HP ZR2440w 400$

overclocking possibility but not a necessity as Im not a full on gamer mostly CAD work and office and Media PLEX work. some games but not huge... therefore no real need for SLI or crossF.

cheers for your input.. keep it coming.
BTW plugged in my initial items + HP monitor into PC partspicker and they came up with 1480$ so i see that as a good ceiling figure to work on, i dont think there's any need to go more?

take out the keyboard and it would be around 1400

1: gave you a 7870 for games
2_ gave you 2x8gb so you can expand in the future
3: gave you a nice and decent CPU cooler
4: the monitor i suggested is great. good for professional use. have a slightly dumbed down version and its great (only difference was mine had a game mode and didnt have quick fit and picture in picture features)
