new build computer shuts down after 1 minute

I am able to get into bios and its shows that my CPU AMD FX8300 is running normal with normal temp. It shows my Corsair 8 GB rams sticks and it shows all fans running normal but before I can do anything in Bios it shuts down. I have checked all my wiring and everything seems to be hooked up right. My gpu its working or elece i couldnt get a screen as this Asus FX990 R2.0 does not have on board video do you think that maybe my 850 watt PSU is the problem?
