[SOLVED] New build computer won't boot ?

I have assembled a new desktop computer to use as a small file server.

I have used the following parts:

CPU: Intel Core i3-10100 3.6 GHz Quad-Core Processor

I have checked several places and all the parts are supposed to be completely compatible but the system does not have any video output via the on board or the video card.
I have checked all the cable connection, DIMM, etc. all with no luck. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Post a picture of the inside of the case and how all is connected to the motherboard.

Why 4x8GB in 2 kits instead of one 2x16GB kit? The 2 kits are not matched and are not guaranteed to work together properly.

Where do you need a dGPU for in a file server? The iGPU is able to handle that easily.
 
Try booting with only 2 sticks in the recommended slots.
Try removing GPU and use onboard graphic only.
If it fires up, then proceed from there.
I have tried that already and sorry forgot to put that in my post. I have removed all sticks of ram and put only 1 first and tried all 4 sticks separately then 2 sticks at a time swapping 1 of the sticks for the remaining 2 then tried again with the second stick. The motherboard does have 2 on board hdmi ports I tried both in 2 different monitors with no success while doing the memory test and nothing else attached to the motherboard. I also during the memory swap test installed the graphics card in / out during each test try that.

The memory is the same part number for each but when purchased because of my budget it was cheaper to get a total of 4 sticks than 2. Second I think it is more than enough for my personal use of this machine running Ubuntu Linux in it but I do understand that question.
As far as the video card and on-board video, the 10th gen I3 does not have something to support video, only 11th gen and up do. I got the video card for it for initial os install and if something happens that I can not SSH to the machine to preform a repair. Normally the machine will not have a monitor plugged into it. I do not know how to post a picture on this forum or I would
 
I cant see any debug LEDs on the motherboard. Any beep codes?
Is the mobo shorted out somewhere ?
Do you have the correct front panel headers in the correct pins ?
Is the PSU powering up ?
Is the PSU switch of, mains switched off (basic I know but sometimes the simplest things can get us) ???

The chassis I have it in does not have a speaker and I don't know if the board itself can produce beep codes but none are heard.

Only one LED comes on and stays yellow or amber until I power the board off.

I do not think the board is shorted I have stands in all spots appropriately and board does not appear to be touching anything.

I want to say I have front header on correctly. When I press the power button the system powers on and stays running until I press and hold the power button. A white LED stays on the whole time I currently do not any hdd plugged into the board. The reset button seems to do something but unsure with no video. I only have the power reset and LED wires connected to the motherboard.

Sorry guess I should have listed that as troubleshooting I did before my post.

You wrote that you have a white LED light, that suggests VGA problem, which you already know as a problem.
Do you have a bent pin on the CPU socket ?

I was confusing I'm sorry the white LED is next to the power switch. The motherboard only has a yellow LED lights up on it. The CPU has pads I guess you call them and look to be fine. It is keyed and also can only go one way.
 
Yellow led suggests ram problem. Maybe your ram is incompatible with your motherboard
OK I I have specked the exact parts on 3 different parts pickers and says no combatility issues. But I did read after my purchase that 10 gen processor could only use 2800 ram instead of 3200. But also read that ram should fall back to a slower speed automatically.
Would you suggest get 2 2800 ram modules and try that out what?

Suggest you borrow a stick of ram from someone to try various other makes, speeds - just to narrow the odds. Then if it fires up, you may find that a bios update might expand ram compatibility but that's all theory for now.
OK, I don't know anyone with computer or stuff. I am only 14 and live in a rural area. IDK might try a chat Monday with Crucial and see what they suggest.

I would NOT recommend buying any other ram until you have definitely diagnosed what the problem actually is.
I suggest its RAM as the yellow light on the Q-LED indicator is for ram.
Q-LED (CPU [red]
DRAM [yellow]
VGA [white]
Boot Device [yellow green])

So, the easiest is to either test your new ram in another working system or test a known working ram stick in your faulty system. That way it should reveal if you have faulty ram or perhaps a faulty motherboard.
The ram you purchased is common enough that it should be no problem with your motherboard.
Just to confirm, have you tried only 1 stick of ram in the primary ram slot marked DIMM B_2 (section 1.4 of your manual) ?

Do you have a gaming system that you can temporarily use the DDR4 ram from to test ?
