Hi all,

Currently looking at putting a new build together. I've done up a quick parts list but was wondering if anyone would have any recommendations / changes to it.
It's going to be built for my partner and I'm wanting to get the cost down to roughly around the $2500 mark without compromising the capability too much. I've fallen off the scene for quite a while now ( close to 10 years haha) and haven't stayed up to date with current tech. So any recommendations, etc. would be greatly appreciated.

For one I wouldn’t be building an am4 rig at this point. If you’ve got the coin I’d go am5 myself. But on a budget I’d look maybe at the i5 13400 and a decent board.

The case you’ve got seems a little overpriced but I might be mistaken.

Is this a US based site? If so they seem grossly overpriced in general.

Edit Nevermind just saw the bottom part that says Aussie. No wonder your build seems so overpriced to me.

are you in need of win 10 pro features? home version is tad cheaper
also USB version costs 30$ more then non usb version...you can get 32GB flash stick for 5$, also you can save up on OEM version aswell

watercooling with 240mm aio has no benefit over twin tower air cooler, its just about oh it looks good, but it add to cost for just being eyecandy, if youre in need of savings, giving up on aio is a good start (-200$]

1000watt powersupply is probably overkill, you can save there aswell with 750w gold rated (around -200$)
