I am building a new pc currently and i have everything hooked up. A GPU, CPU, SSD, Motherboard, PSU, and RAM. I turn on the power and the power button lights up. The motherboard lights up. All of the fans start running and spinning. I plug in an HDMI into the GPU and nothing showed. This happend whenever i tested it without the GPU to.

Current Parts:

600 Watt Corsair PSU
MSI Tomahawk B350
AMD Ryzen 3 1200

2 TB Harddrive from another pc
8 GB Corsair RAM

Solution
Ensure that everything is seated properly. Some motherboard require that RAM be inserted in a specific RAM slot (check the user manual for memory slot configuration). Also, ensure that you have all of the power to the MB, GPU firmly inserted. There should be a 4 or 6 pin plug on the MB for a power connection from the PSU, same for higher end GPUs.

If those tips don't work, take everything out and place only the essentials back into the system. No need to take the CPU and heat sink off, but do make sure that the fan for the CPU is connected to the MB CPU Fan header, some MB makers won't allow the system to start if they don't detect a CPU fan.

I hope this helps, best of luck!

Solution
The EZ debug light is on. What does that mean? I do believe that I have the ram in the correct slot. It says to put it in the second slot and I do.

I turned the PC off and moved the RAM one slot to the right. I booted it on and the light turned off after it came on for a couple seconds.

Update: I got it to work! Thx for the tips on the RAM!
