New build, fans running, no display no POST

Just built a new PC, everything brand new out of the box, apart from an old HDD, when i start the computer everything starts as normal (fans) but no noise or any light on my mobo to tell me its on or working. When i first plugged in via hdmi from GPU to my LCD TV hdmi I got no signal on the monitor, i have now tried the DVI-VGA to VGA connection and still nothing.. I have no reason to believe its any of the parts are broken but all the cables are working as are the 3 lcd tv's i've tried.. as an addition my MOBO does not have on board graphics so i cannot verify the display. To conclude I am getting no BIOS or anything and need to find out what's wrong in the system

-AMD X4 760K
-SAPPHIRE RADEON R7 260X
-EVGA 80+ 500W PSU
-G.SKILL 4GBX1 DDR3 RAM - DIMM 240-pin
-MSI A55M E33 Motherboard (I think is the problem)
-500GB SEAGATE HDD
-LG 32" HD TV

Sorry if this is confusing (not my own build), but would really like to have it working before Xmas..
Like I said I think the mobo might be the problem.. any advice is appreciated, thanks 😀

Two things:
What are the 4 digits after B in the board's serial and can you borrow a monitor and test?
