Hello, please let me know what you think and if there are any 'problems' with it, let me know. Cheers muchly :)

CASE : Corsair Vengeance C70 (white)
MOBO: MSI Z97 Gaming 5
CPU : i7 4790k
Cool: Arctic Cooling Freezer 7
GPU : MSI GTX 970 x 2 in SLI
RAM : Corsair Vengeance Pro 16GB @ 2400Mhz
PSU : Corsair AX 860w Platinum 80+
SSD : Samsung 850 Pro 1TB
HDD : WD 6TB Red

(Note: I already own one of the 970's and the RAM)

Purpose is for gaming obviously, highest settings @ 1440p on my 34" Ultrawide (3440x1440.)

My only real concern with this is that the motherboard supports both 6TB hdd and the Samsung 850 Pro.

The Motherboard has the SATA ports for the two drives and the SSD. If you plan any overclocking at all, the Gigabyte Z97X gaming 5 would be better for me. It is cheaper and has better power phases. If you are not going to overclock, then there are even cheaper alternatives that SLI just fine.

You don't really need the i7 for gaming, an i5 can drive those GPUs and a Xeon would give you Hyperthreading and save some money.

Thanks for the feedback :)

After looking at the Gigabyte, it does look like the better board. I'll go with that, thank you.

As for the cpu I should have mentioned that I will be doing more than gaming, there will be some sony vegas rendering and after effects projects. Would the i7 be better for this? Thanks.

If you plan for things other than gaming, especially rendering, Hyperthreading is good and the extra speed helps, so a Xeon (which is basically an i7 with no iGPU, and you are using a discrete one - two,so that's good) or an i7 would be a good choice.
