Hey guys i am looking to finally build a computer just needed advice on how to do it and what to buy!

Approximate Purchase Date: October 20th

Budget Range: 650-750

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming

Parts Not Required: Keyboard,Mouse,Speakers,Monitor. I have Tower CoolerMaster HAF 932, and Psu: CoolerMaster 650gx

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: newegg,amazon

Parts Preferences: I dont mind going Amd or Intel as long as the build is solid i know both can perform great, and im not into overclocking if that matters.

Overclocking: No

SLI or Crossfire: No

Any additional advice or comments are appreciated just want to get a good idea and finally build a computer, doesn't have to be the best one just something solid!

i5 2500 (210$)(perhaps the 2500k, on the odd chance you want to oc in the future)
Asrock extreme3 gen3 (~125$)
Radeon 6870 (180$) OR 6950 (240$)
2x samsung spinpoint F3 in raid0(120$)
Total ~ 635$ OR 695$
The idea for this one is that you can add another card in crossfire later. The CPU should last a long time (especially if getting the 2500k and oc'ing at some point) You might also need a better PSU if going crossfire though.

Alternative:
i3 2100 (~125$)
Asrock extreme3 gen3 (~125$)
GTX 580 (~470$)
samsung spinpoint F3 (60$)
Total: ~780$
The idea here is that you can replace the CPU with an ivy bridge when it becomes too slow for the newest games.

EDIT: prices are newegg, before rebate.
EDIT2: Oh snap! I forgot RAM. Add about 50$ to the build for some 1600mhz 2x4GB. Make sure they are 1,5V
