Hello everyone,

I'm wanting to build myself a computer for the first time (Mainly for gaming, programming and general work.) and I think I have the parts I need, I'm just unsure as to whether it's all compatible or not, so here are the parts:

Case: NZXT Tempest 410

Motherboard: Gigabyte Z77-DS3H

GPU: Sapphire Radeon HD 7850 2GB
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B008HV63NM/ref=ox_sc_act_title_5?ie=UTF8&smid=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE

PSU: 600W Corsair Builder 80PLUS Bronze
https://www.aria.co.uk/SuperSpecials/600W+Corsair+Builder+Series+600CX+80PLUS+Bronze+Power+Supply+?productId=52662

Wireless: TP-Link TL-WDN4800 N450 Dual Band Wireless
https://www.aria.co.uk/Products/Networking/Wireless/Wireless+Adapter+-+PCI%2FPCI-E+Cards/TP-Link+TL-WDN4800+N450+Dual+Band+Wireless+N+PCI-E+Adapter+?productId=52680

Can someone please tell me if it's all ok, and whether there may be a cheaper product that suits my needs.

Also, I've heard that people have had trouble with corsair vengeance modules as they are too tall and may come in contact with/block the heatsink, will this be a problem in my build?

Thanks,

Hastro225. :)

No point in pairing a 2500K with a Z77 board as you lose the key feature of Ivy Bridge and that's PCI 3.0. You need the 3570K.

There's better SSDs you could be going with other than that outdated Sandforce drive. Get this instead: http://www.aria.co.uk/Products/Storage/Hard+Drives+-+SSD/100GB+-+260GB+SSD/Crucial+m4+128GB+2.5%22+SATA-III+Solid+State+Hard+Drive+?productId=44258

Get the low profile Vengeance RAM: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Corsair-CML8GX3M2A1600C9-Vengeance-1600MHz-Memory/dp/B00569K7LM/ref=sr_1_1?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1354902183&sr=1-1

Otherwise that looks good.

Alternately you could consider dropping the SSD and upgrading your GPU to the 7950.

Awesome, thanks for the help. I've been told that SSD's are the best thing to have if you've already got a decent GPU, so would it be really worth it to drop it and go with the 7950?

If this is a gaming rig I always try to say that you should get the best GPU that your budget allows. You can always add an SSD later on but that all depends on what the primary use of this rig is.
