New build for a newbie

wouldnt quite have enough with that monitor for a skylake build. no big deal though.

-i7 is overkill for a gaming system with a gtx 970. an i5 will perform almost the same.
-that power supply is EXTREMELY overpriced and not one of the better ones out there.
-your case didnt have a price and you are $88 over the budget you gave me.
-samsung 850 evo drives are faster than kingston savage and are priced better.
-i recommend a combination of hdd and ssd. 250gb is not enough for a gaming system. it is best to have os/programs on a ssd and games/files on hdd. games will still function the same on a hdd. load times will just be increased.

hmm 1400 usd! i am an average gamer, i got my ps4 for witcher 3 and so, but cod or similar and rts games i enjoy on pc. i also do adobe photoshop. i heard that even a skylake i5 could be ideal for me..
