Approximate Purchase Date: This week
Budget Range: 700-900
System Usage from Most to Least Important:Gaming, potential watching Netflix, blu-ray DVD
Parts Not Required: will supply OEM Windows 7
Preferred Website(s) for Parts:whever is the best/cheapest. Put together a system on Newegg for 900, a little too pricy
Country of Origin: USA
Parts Preferences: by brand or type; Intel based, as I think they tend to be more stable. But if AMD is way cheaper for similar performance, then I'm game
Overclocking: prob not, as I haven't done that too often
SLI or Crossfire: Maybe later
Monitor Resolution: 1440x900 or better
Additional Comments:I built an AMD sytem for my son about 6 yrs ago, fast, but would oc get the BSOD, and it frustrated us both. It was prob heat related, but still would like somthing that can play a mean Halo and not freeze. Also, he loves to collect music, have loads of Itunes, thus the larger Hard drive.
