Hello everyone

Im about to build a computer to basically play online poker and use it to watch tv

my question is, do i know to buy 2 video cards, one tv tuner card and one regular graphic card

will a i3 cpu be sufficent?

Also if there any recommendations for motherboards for this type of build?

thanks

i3-2100 with an inexpensive H61 motherboard would be all you need. You don't need a video card because the i3 has integrated graphics. Add 4GB of DDR3-1333 1.5v ram which is dirt cheap right now.

You probably need a tv tuner card, although I have no knowledge in this area at all I have never used one.

Ok thanks! I'm also gonna have a 40 inch samsung attached to the computer as the monitor would the I3 graphics be enough for the tv? I wouldn't want it all blurry I'd rather have that in hd as well

so i cant find the http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6813128517 from a local computer store.. closest one they have is http://www.memoryexpress.com/Products/PID-MX28545(ME).aspx
(Gigabyte GA-880GM-UD2H w/ Radeon HD 4250, DualDDR3 1666, 7.1 Audio, Gigabit Lan, 1394, Hybrid CrossFireX, HDMI)

Would the intergrated graphics card on both mobo and cpu be a problem?

they also have this bundle there http://www.memoryexpress.com/Products/PID-BDL_A83850_F1A75M(ME).aspx
(AMD A8-3850 APU Bundle w/ Asus F1A75-M PRO Motherboard)

Cheaper??

Actually it's more expensive than what I recommended. i3-2100+H61 = $185 (Newegg prices)

Plus the i3 is only 65w, the A8 is 100w.
