Hey everyone , I just finished my first ever build and things started off smooth enough. Then I ran into a brick wall of problems. As soon as I restarted my computer after installing some Nvidia drivers , I was left at a blank screen where the Windows 8 login should be. After hours of looking up similar problems I was able to fix this by doing some legacy mode and then command scan tutorial I found on this website. Everything was going good until now it seems like every 30 minutes my computer is freezing. It's not overheating, it's blowing very cool actually, everything is running perfect and then something will hitch.
Twice it happened at the end of downloads, bioshock infinite and steam itself and a few more times just when surfing websites like GameStop and bestbuy. The mouse still moves around but it will have that infinite loop next to it and everything is unclickable, and usually it stays like that for 5 minutes before just freezing entirely. I have to hold down my power button for a few seconds to power off my computer. Can someone help me out, I'm so new at this and all these little problems are killing me.
