Hello all,

I just finished my build and it is running 2 4890s in Xfire. I tried booting it up but a screen comes up that says "you have not connected one of your video card power connectors to the power supply. Please refer to the "getting started guide" for proper hardware instructions. I looked there and couldn't find anything. I have tried using different pci-express power cords (both modular and non-modular) but nothing is working. I also checked the fans on both GPUs and both are spinning. And yes, I checked the "READ before posting about boot problems!" sticky and nothing was solved. Please help!

Does each card run if install alone in the first slot and with each of the power cords? If so, and then you have issues when a known working card is in the second slot, I'd try to confirm a mobo issue. Not a PSU.

K I got the video cards to be recognized but now I'm running into another problem!

When the BIOS starts it says AHCI BIOS not installed!! CMOS checksum error - Defaults loaded

...and it just sits on the screen. Anybody have any ideas why?
