New Build GPU Question

So I'm about to purchase all the parts for my new build and I was wondering which would be the best GPU (GAMING)

My Build:
Cryorig C7 compact cpu cooler
ASRock B250M Pro4 Motherboard Overclocked 8GB Video Card
WD Green 120GB M.2 SSD WDS120G1G0B
Seagate 1TB Barracuda 3.5" Internal Hard Drive - ST1000DM010
Intel Core i5-7600K
Kingston HyperX Fury Black 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-2133 Memory
EVGA600B 600W 80+

Which GPU for Gaming:
1. ASUS GeForce GTX 1070 Strix Gaming.
2. Asus Radeon RX 580 8GB ROG STRIX Video Card
3.Gigabyte Radeon RX 580 8GB Gaming 8G Video Card


seeing I've heard people say the 1070 is better but all the benchmark websites say the RX 580 is better

Will you be overclocking? Because your CPU and motherboard are not a good match

A 1070 would be superb for this build. But do change the power supply to something else, go with the Seasonic S12|| 520w.

Hi,

I think you mistook the 1060 with 1070. The benchmarks out there compare the RX 580 vs 1060, as 1070 is better than the RX 580. Now what I can suggest if you are not planning for playing a high demanding games then go for the 580, and invest in getting at least 240GB SSD. Also at some point either your CPU or GPU will bottleneck mainly at high settings but based on what games you are playing.
